please see our
Donation Application Form.
Thanks to the grants awarded to the group from West Sussex CC, Mid Sussex DC, Worth PC and BAA Gatwick Trust work can start on constructing the building shell. However there is still a lot of fundraising to do before we can complete the building. The building shell will require internal flooring and fittings and outside paving is still required.
Donations have been received of:
Kitchen Cabinets
Cycle Rack
Newspaper coverage has started and we will try to get future events covers - see articles

The Scout Group has been wanting to replace the dilapidated building in Spinney Close for many years. The current wooden building was erected in 1979 having been recovered from a convent in East Grinstead. Such is the state of the building that if it is not replaced now it will probably fall down. The roof leaks, walls and floor are rotten, added to this the need to meet modern disability access requirements replacement is well overdue.
Many plans and options have been explored over the years but finally planning permission was granted in 2005 to rebuild on the current site. The group has quietly been fundraising over the years and has built up a substantial sum towards replacement, but not enough to complete the project. A small group of leaders have been working over the last year to secure grants from various organisations to meet the remaining costs. These grants will not be enough to fully complete the project, so help is still needed.
